ABB celebrates one year of Motion offerings on eMart with an impressive growth in customer base

Launched in the midst of pandemic in 2020, eMart has emerged as a one-stop shop for ABB products, and offers a seamless digital shopping experience for customers.

With an impressive web traffic and enhanced user experience, leads for Motion products on eMart doubled on a month-on-month basis and the site garnered 26X growth in organic users since the time of launch. More than 60 percent of the leads and orders were received from cities like Coimbatore, Lucknow,Jamshedpur, Vijaywada, Vadodra, Indore, Nashik and Chandigarh. Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) for Motion products doubled from 400 to over 800 in a year.

In the past 12 months, eMart has catered to the diverse needs of small entrepreneurs, large brownfield projects in machine manufacturing, commercial buildings, HVAC, Plastics and F&B segments. The platform offers complete range of Low voltage motors, micro & machinery drives, select range of general-purpose drives and spares.

eMart has been developed for a user-friendly experience, with easy navigation as well as personalized results for all buyers. The platform allows customers to submit their order queries online or they can directly purchase the products through eMart by availing secure payment options such as net banking, eWallets, and UPI. It also complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in terms of client data.

ABB plans to leverage eMart to further penetrate the MSMEs and SMEs in Tier 2, 3 and 4 cities. As the online marketplace gains traction, ABB will focus on expanding its product portfolio and embed it with more personalized content to ensure a seamless engagement and smooth shopping experience for customers.
